National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th 

Orange Shirt Day is a day to promote a space of healing, awareness and education around the residential school systems that were located around turtle island and the atrocity's occurred within the walls of the schools.

 

What occurred in residential school systems is recognized as cultural genocide.
